History,  Scripture Inspiration

Canada’s long time tradition.

Canada by it’s democracy and Constitution was founded by principles that recognize the Supremacy of God and rule of law. This form of democracy preserves against dictatorship.

In the 2022, December 13 (pg 379) Alberta Hansard so eloquently presented by The hon. Minister of Justice, Mr. Shandro recognizing the impacts of the constitutional monarchy in Canada.

I will begin by stating that if society doesn’t recognize the blessings in their nation and why it has been blessed, how will they ever defend or protect it? Replacement ideology of many of the current systems we have known for order and justice are continually being eroded and replaced with other woke or doctrine type theories. Like replacement of Human Rights, which has everything society needs, but yet it’s being revamped, re-languaged to include and tolerate what the viewer perceives acceptable. There is no respect for the former rights in actuality. Scripture also provides insight to the changing of laws and times. We see this so prevalent in our day.

Mr. Shandro in his speech to Mr. Speaker expressed,

“I thought it was important for us in this Chamber to have a case for constitutional monarchy to continue in this country. I wanted to be able to stand and to make a point that it is important for a system of government to separate the chief of the executive from the head of the state, to separate what Churchill described as “what is permanent from what is temporary.”

“We’re all politicians in this Chamber, Mr. Speaker. There are matters which must necessarily be in dispute between parties and factions of politicians. But in the unwritten aspects of our Constitution, which we inherited from the United Kingdom, the wisdom is in placing the supreme position in the state beyond the reach of private ambition. Again, quoting Churchill, perhaps not quoting him but paraphrasing him, he made the case that a constitutional monarchy is the most practical and effective means through which the democracies in the Commonwealth, including a democracy like ours in Canada, can preserve against dictatorship. And why is that? It’s because in a constitutional monarchy like ours – this is going to be a quote from Churchill – “no one can presume to set [themselves] up as national representative against the hereditary rights of the King.”

“Mr. Speaker, we dwell in our constitutional monarchy more happily, more safely, more prosperously, and more progressively than those who do so in either an oligarchy or a republic. It’s because of that that we need to continue to preserve the constitutional monarchy. It’s a tradition that we have in Canada. I hope with the accession of His Majesty we will continue to see support for the monarchy, continue with this tradition.”

“With that, Mr. Speaker, thank you for the opportunity for me to speak.”

And if you had a chance to read about last years Coronation Oath that took place in May 2023 for King Charles III, and his duty and willingness to take oath as King to serve the Lord Almighty. This ceremony puts a greater perspective into the permanent vs. temporary duties, in relation to who actually owns the earth. There are kings of the earth and there is one Righteous King over all. It is most interesting to read the history of the Coronation Oath, 1688. For example the Coronation Regalia with all the symbolic meanings:

History matters, truth matters, righteousness and honest living matters. My prayer is that you would live your life by truth, desire a pure heart and not become subject to lies and deceit. That you would hope in His mercy.

Psalm 147:11 KJV ~ The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

That there would be consideration of this great warning from Jesus, the Lord of all, to not be deceived. To watch, to rightly divide the Word of Truth, the Word of Hope, the Word of God, to love one another and to love God above all, as the first and greatest commandment. Blessed is the nation who’s God is the Lord as ancient scripture reminds us that it is His Word that stands.

Psalm 33:11-14 KJV ~The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. 13 The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. 14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. ~ Luke 2:14 KJV
